Fairway Terms of Use
These terms apply to the Fairway app and its web version. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the iPhone app. By using Fairway you agree to both. How we handle your data is in the privacy policy.
1. Community rules (Clubhouse)
The Clubhouse lets golfers see each other's practice, cheer each other on, and add range photos. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Don't post or use:
- nicknames, crew names or photos that are sexual, violent, hateful, harassing, or that show other people without their permission;
- anything illegal, misleading, or that advertises or spams;
- someone else's identity, or extra accounts to get around a block or suspension.
Names are checked against a word filter and photos are checked automatically before anyone else sees them, but please report anything that gets through.
2. Reporting and blocking
Press and hold a golfer (or tap ⋯ on a post) to Report or Block them. Blocking hides them from you straight away. We review reports within 24 hours and remove content and suspend or delete accounts that break these rules. You can also email [email protected].
3. Your account and content
You keep ownership of what you add. You let us store it and show it to other golfers as the app describes (for example, finished practices and range photos in the Clubhouse) so the features work. You can delete your account and its data any time in Settings.
4. The app
Fairway is provided as is. Course-score estimates and other numbers are rough guides, not guarantees. Practice safely and follow your range's rules. We may change or end features, and we may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version.
